I Want to Help

The church moves forward on its knees. After all, the Bible says that unless the Lord builds the house, the laborers labor in vain. We desperately need prayer support. Even if you are committed somewhere else and you cannot physically work with us, you can spiritually uphold us in prayer. We need people to commit to fasting, praying, and diligently seeking the Lord on our behalf. Would you consider setting aside a regular time of prayer for us? It can be daily. It can be weekly. You can even give us a little one-minute prayer, every hour on the hour. Please make a pledge of prayer on our behalf. Prayer requests will be updated periodically so check back frequently. "So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." – Matthew 9:38

Do you have a talent and passion for expressing your love for God in the visual realm? Watercolor? Calligraphy? Sculpture? Graphics? Computer Art? It is said a picture is worth a thousand words. Use your skills to communicate the Living Word. Send your portfolio and bio to Tim.

It doesn’t matter what the band sounds like behind the mic if the mics don’t work. If you are gifted in this area, we desperately need you. You are a vital link in delivering the powerful living word of God to the hearts, minds, eyes, and ears of the congregation. Without you, we are dead in the water. We need your high tech alchemy to reach a generation whose front door is an illuminated screen. Helping our church traverse the world wide web will be crucial to our mission of helping people find Jesus. Tim is truly technologically challenged! We need your help ASAP. Contact us.

God tells us to use worldly wealth to secure eternal prosperity. (Luke 16:9). With money that is here today and gone tomorrow, we can invest in the things of eternity. We are taking on a very old church whose revenue has been weak and declining for many, many years. It is a brave new vision that we have set before this church, a vision that will challenge them to give way outside their means. Can you help us? Nowadays, it costs money to reach lost souls. New equipment, new media, new technology all costs money. Tim himself is only part time and would love to go full-time. Right now he and Lillian still have to work side jobs to make ends meet. If after prayer, the Lord would put it on your heart to give, your reward would be great in heaven and we would have the financial assistance to reach people who need Jesus. Contact us.

Do you love making people feel comfortable and welcome? Do you love food? Then maybe this is the place for you. When people come to a new environment, their stress level is naturally high. Something as simple as a cup of coffee, a snack, and a friendly face can bring that stress level down. Maybe coming to a meeting at church would be easier for some, if there was food on campus. Want to work with kids? Come share the love of Jesus with our younger generation and leave a Christian legacy that will last lifetimes. We are in need of patient and kind volunteers who can be teachers and aides.* If you are interested, please contact Lillian.

* We are now in need of people to work with N-6^th grade. No experience is necessary. We will provide training.

Are you fluent in another tongue? Do you love the thought of clearly communicating God’s word from English into another language? Then we need your help. Our goal is to have simultaneous translation through headsets at every service and study materials in every language group God would have us minister to. You may be an integral part of many people’s spiritual journey. Please let us know of your interest. Contact Tim.

Do you love praising God through music? Have you invested years in playing an instrument but have no worthwhile outlet for your passion? Then please consider being a part of our music ministry. We need musicians for our worship teams, our small groups, our outreach ensembles/bands, and music teachers. Please contact Tim for an audition.

God has blessed us with a meeting place, but parking might be a challenge. We need people who will be an integral part of the Worship experience by making the act of getting to church easy, safe, and comfortable. We have a small parking lot and we may need valet parking, street parking attendants, traffic flow directors, and/or security to keep our people and cars safe. We may even have shuttle service during hot or rainy weather. Interested? Contact us.

We need people to be the first impression of both our church and the Love of Jesus.
