Meet Our Team
Tim Leung
Tim Leung loves to connect people with God and encourage them to follow God’s plan for their lives. In fact, he would like to see a generation abandon all to follow Jesus and take their worlds for Christ. Over his ministry career, he has worn many hats. Some of these have been: church planter, youth pastor, conference speaker, worship leader, minister of worship arts, private music teacher, and vocal coach.
Due to his gifts in communication, Tim is often in high demand. As a result, please contact us right away if you would like to book him for your next event.
A little history …
Tim grew up in Stockton, California. He received a BA in Music from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master of Divinity from Multnomah Biblical Seminary in Portland, Oregon. When he is not busy ministering, he enjoys playing with his two rambunctious kids. He also enjoys fishing, cooking, playing racquet sports and golf, and raising African cichlids in his two big fish tanks. As a side note, he is addicted to coffee and got his wife hooked on it too.
Tim and his wife, Lillian, both love the idea of “ministering to the ministers.” This is how Leung Ministries came into existence in 2015. They have a special burden on their hearts to reach second generation people (i.e., children of immigrants), as they both are second generation people as well. A lot of the material they write is sensitive to this special population, who are often overlooked by mainstream society.
Tim and Lillian hope to bring the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ to all people, especially the second generation, and to give them a sense of identity, mission, and purpose. They love to serve God together as a family. They currently live in Northern California with their two young children and 60+ aquarium fish.
